On average, most vehicles will take approximately 3-4 hours to complete. The size, number of windows and type of vehicle will impact the time required for installation. Please contact us to confirm.

The most beneficial feature of Ceramic Window Tint is its ability to reject solar energy (heat) – no matter the window tint percentage. There are many different brands that carry Ceramic Window Tint. However, some brands reject more solar energy (heat) than others – therefore, no – not all Ceramic Window Tints are the same. We are pleased to say XPEL’s Prime XR+ Ceramic Window Tint has a heat rejection rating of 98%! Which currently makes it the highest rated Ceramic Window Tint on the market right now.

No. Please wait 3-4 days to roll down your windows. During and after this time, you will notice water bubbles and/or a cloudy-look. This is normal and can take as long as 30-60 days after installation to dissipate.

[…] any window to the direct left or right of the driver’s seat […] substantially obscures the interior of the motor vehicle when viewed from outside the motor vehicle

Ontario laws do not expressly specify whether front window tinting is legal or not. We suggest to not install window tint on the windshield and to go no darker than 35% on the front driver and front passenger door windows. However, it is important to know that it is up to each individual police officer to determine whether your tint “substantially” obscures vision in your vehicle. Ontario law does not restrict tinting and darkness on your rear windows and back glass window.

Highway Traffic Act section 73(3) states that the VLT or Visible Light Transmission rate of the vehicles should be 70% or higher. Having tint darkness more than 30% is illegal.

Ontario traffic law allows 30% dark tint to be installed on your front left and right windows, while any level of darkness is allowed on the rear left and right windows.
